  I grew up going to Ridgeway. Visitors are always welcome. The congregation is very friendly, so you will be greeted at the door with a warm welcome and treated like family. The worship services includes a sermon and hymnal music or a band. Ben Risser is the current pastor and often relays his message using personal stories from his life and often includes a joke. The worship service is followed by Sunday School, which has numerous groups for all ages and interests. Many church members also participate in small groups that meet outside of church. Additionally, there are a lot of community service projects that Ridgeway supports. Ridgeway often participates in church league sports including softball, volleyball, and basketball. Ridgeway might be a little bit more progressive than some other Mennonite Churches. Ridgeway also does fun activities including a men's retreat, women's retreat, and a church retreat (often at Highland Retreat).
